Colleague Spotlight
Melinda Clements, HR Consultant
Hi, I’m Melinda. I’ve been an HR Consultant at WorkNest (formerly HR Services Partnership) since 2013, when I joined as an HR Adviser. I enjoy supporting clients to meet their business needs and resolve their HR issues by helping them find pragmatic solutions.
I enjoy the variety of work that my role brings and advise on all areas of HR. However, I particularly enjoy project work, including organisational development, restructure and TUPE.
A large amount of my role includes involves advising and coaching and I find it rewarding to see clients achieving their goals and objectives as a result of my input. The consultant role comes with a large focus on employee relations, which I find both challenging and rewarding. I’m also the go-to person in the team for data protection/GDPR queries!
Before joining WorkNest, I’ve worked for the RSPCA, for a public sector pensions organisation, and in both law firms and financial services organisations.
I graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences and have since achieved Membership status of the CIPD.
When I’m not working, I enjoy travelling and eating out, and I also have a keen interest in nutrition.
