Mark Ellis states “Our clients work in the real world, where regardless of political persuasion and regardless of whether they support Brexit or not, they have a job to do – they have to compromise, they have to be pragmatic and they make the most of the situation in which they find themselves – rather than delaying, dillly -dallying or holding put for some ideal. If they did that, they’d be out of business and their employees would lose their jobs.
By rejecting the proposed deal today, by not compromising, by not being pragmatic – Parliament has prolonged and intensified business uncertainty.”
